Lexus automobiles come with leather trim that over the years lose their unique colors, or worse, the leather falls apart on the steering wheel and gear knobs. AGLA can restore your wheel to the original specification. Although most of the Lexus wheels and knobs look the same, AGLA has discovered that they are specific to your specific ES, LS or GS models. Also, due to the variety of earth tones Lexus has used over the years, please refer to our color chart to select your Lexus color.
 
Lexus wood/leather steering wheel restoration- $435.00

AGLA can change your Lexus wheel to a beautiful wood and leather finish to new original finish.This is not a kit or glue-on finish that looks fake, it is an intensive process that AGLA do that converts your wheel to the correct wood finish in your Lexus, regardless of year, We can customize to your design or to OE specs. Carbon Fiber can also be done. The process of doing it is a 4 to 5 weeks in-house restoration. We do have loaner wheels free of charge. Ask us about matching auto gearknobs....

                   

Wheel Kits-
AGLA makes do it yourself (DIY) kits that you can sew up on your car. It requires you to remove the leather you have and sew the new kit into place covering the spokes. You will be supplied thread and needles and instructions guiding you through the process. Approximate time is 4-8 hours depending on your sewing skills. We also have an extra cost presewn option that new 2004 Lexus wheels come with that allows you to lace up the wheel kit in 1-3 hours, thus giving you a more uniform factory finish. We have over 20 colors available.

Gear Knobs-
Your Lexus knob gets a lot of use and gets worn out over the years. There is detailed stitching on the knob and when it wears away looks and feels quite rough. We can restore that knob with the same detailed stitching and make it look as new. Not all Lexus knobs are the same, and Lexus has had subtle detail changes over the years. We may have loaner knobs available, depending on current availability.

Knob Kits – AGLA feels that the intricate sewing detail needed for these knobs really makes a difficult do-it-yourself effort. If you are a trimmer, installer or interior specialist, for these kits please call us for details at 1-800-780-4500. We will gladly supply you with this kit and if you cannot sew it yourself we will credit the amount spent and sew the knob for you.


Steering Wheel Restoration-
AGLA can restore your wheel to new OEM Specifications covering the spokes, with the sewing style of your choice. Over 20 colors are available at optional custom color charges. We remove the original leather and one of our seamstresses will carefully hand-sew into place a new leather cover to return your car to the original factory condition. Some early Lexus wheels are no longer available or becoming rare. We can salvage and restore that wheel for your Lexus.

We have two sewing options. Our Lexus "presewn" stitch is the same as seen on new 2004 models. With a number of earlier model Lexus wheels a "V" shaped stitch or "baseball stitch" was used. The baseball stitch is an optional charge if you so desire. If you are a collector of these cars, we suggest you chose this—otherwise the standard presewn looks and feels original. Some Lexus wheels came with wood options. Small cracks can be repaired by us but it is best if you send us a .jpg photo for us to evaluate if your wheel can be properly restored. We can also totally recover, in leather, a wooden wheel that is in bad shape.

Emergency Brake Handles, E-brake Shiftboots-

We can repair that emergency brake handle and replace that worn out e-brake boot. Brake handles need to be sent in to us to be properly sewn up in the correct color.
