AGLA,
Inc. (Alan Gun Leather Accessories, Inc.) started in late 1985 to
repair a small leather problem on a 1978 Porsche 911 steering wheel.
The replacement of an original wheel was very expensive. This began a
low-cost quality alternative method to replace and repair the wheel to
resemble the original equipment and not detract from the resale value
of the car itself, for anything not appearing as a factory original would
detract from the value and originality of any car. Our first product was
then created.
From this beginning, AGLA has developed all types of steering wheel kits that actually cover the spokes, supplying fine automobiles the world over. In addition AGLA has gone on to manufacture specific fitting shift boots, knobs and handbrake units to match OEM factory specification. AGLA has also designed leather products for autos—upgrades and superior products not supplied by the factory. AGLA currently
manufactures over 150 different products in 30 different color applications
for most German and Japanese autos. In addition, every day, new products
are being added for American and English autos. We are specialists in
rare colors that even the factory may no longer supply.
AGLA has supplied cars worldwide with our representative for Porsche products in Europe. We welcome those in the industry to visit us at the Las Vegas convention annually in November. |
