AGLA prides itself in Ferrari wheel restoration. We just do not recover these wheels, we restore them to their individual specifications.

Our experience with these wheels has shown variations from one wheel to the same spec wheel over the years. We inspect the integrity of the wheel insuring the welding points, the wheel's core foam and the grade and gloss of the original leather. The spokes are rebuilt if necessary, and all seams are properly constructed as in the original. We then straighten the wheel if bent, and finalize the wheel with correct color thread. Note: most came with white handsewn stitch thread. Newer Ferraris tend toward either yellow or red thread. Ferrari leather-covered wheels are mostly of Momo or Nardi manufacture.

We pride ourselves in restoring these rare wheels. Due to the intensive process it may take up to two months for us to do your wheel.

AGLA’s purpose of these wheels is to restore them to as close to concourse specifications as possible, because these cars require a museum-quality finish. Because of this we give a four-year warranty on these wheels. We also supply a VHS tape of the disassembly and restoration of your wheel.

AGLA has restored a number of wheels with the removal of the original leather (removed for proper restoration.) The actual core foam can turn to dust in sections. We can repair small sections up to 3-4 inches for a fee of $82.50, however further restoration requires us to actually recast a new grip. If half the wheel needs it and we can save the other half, we charge $110.00 however for further restoration the fee is $182.50.

It is for this reason that we include a free VHS tape of the history of your wheel. With the visual documented history of your wheel, we will be able to determine the extent of future work needed to be done to the grip itself, any core work, and welding.

Wooden Ferrari Wheel Restoration:
Older Ferraris came with wooden wheels, and the finish on these can wear away over the years. Even the wood itself, left unattended, sadly rots over time.

AGLA can refinish the wood on the wheel to original specifications.

Restoration/Refinish starts at $247.50 - For wheels needing a surface finish, but no woodwork such as rebuilding or welding.
